In just a week after the launch of the company's #OneAgainstCOVID19 campaign, PayMaya has helped raise more than PHP million of donations from Filipinos all over the world using its digital payment channels.

More than PHP 7.8 million raised to help in the fight against COVID-19

The campaign was made possible by collaborating with several companies non-profit organizations such as the Philippine Red Cross, UNICEF, Caritas Manila, OXFAM Pilipinas, UP PGH Foundation, and other groups.

They will be mobilizing the relief and resources to those who are to help combat the COVID-19 effect. It will also support medical personnel, frontliners, and disadvantaged communities caught in the crossfires of the battle against the deadly disease.

The response we have gotten just a week after launch has been tremendous, which only highlights not just the magnanimity but also the creativity of Filipinos in responding to this crisis, aided by technology. We will continue to support consumers, businesses, communities, government agencies, and humanitarian organizations in this united effort during this pandemic by providing the most convenient and inclusive means of sending monetary support, said Orlando Vea, Founder and CEO of PayMaya.
