LetsGoDigital has recently obtained a patent filed at the WIPO (World Intellectual Property Office) showing the possible designs of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip successor.

A Galaxy Z Flip with triple-cam?
Samsung has filed two potential designs and both will feature a triple-camera setup instead of just two. To recall, the original Z Flip only has a dual-camera module at the back.

The patent design |
The first design (Model A) shows a horizontally-aligned triple-camera and flash and it looks similar to the first Flip. The second design (Model B) uses a vertically-aligned design with a bigger secondary OLED screen.
When fully opened, the device has a tall screen with the familiar punch-hole in the upper-middle portion of the display. There's a visible earspeaker in the patent as well.
While there's no guarantee that Samsung will use either of the designs for the next Flip phone, this shows that the company is looking to improve the camera capability of its future foldable device.
Just recently, DxOMark gave the cameras of the Galaxy Z Flip a respectable total score of 105 points. But, it lags behind the camera scores of most modern flagships with at least 3 cameras.
What do you guys think? Could this be the next good flipping camera phone?
