Samsung Galaxy Note20 series will allegedly come with Snapdragon 865+ or Exynos 990

IceUniverse and Max Weinbach claim that the Samsung Galaxy Note20 series will come with the new Snapdragon 865+ and the older Exynos 990.

Can confirm. I have found no references to any new chip other than Snapdragon 865+ in the firmware's I have on hand.

Through Twitter, prolific leakers IceUniverse claims that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note20 series will come with the newly announced Snapdragon 865+ for the United States, China, and South Korea.

In other markets including Africa, Europe, and the Middle East, the Note20 series will allegedly come with the Exynos 990 that came with the Galaxy S20 series.

In a reply to the aforementioned tweet, XDA-Developer's Max Weinbach confirms that he did not find references to new chipsets other than the Snapdragon 865+ in the firmware he has on hand. 

If true, this is devastating news for users who are in markets outside of China, South Korea, and the US. 

The Samsung Galaxy Note20 series is expected to be announced on August 5, 2020.

As Samsung has yet to make any official announcements on the Note20 series, take this information with a grain of salt as it is considered as rumors.
