Since the National Telecommunications Commission has ordered ABS-CBN to stop its operations on free television via Channel 2 on May 05, the Kapamilya network has found ways to remain in the service of the Filipino.

One of these is the recently launched Kapamilya Channel where ABS-CBN was able to operate again via SKY Cable, SKY Direct, and other cable operators. It also simulcasts with the ABS-CBN TVplus.

However, SKY Direct and TVplus were ordered to stop its operations as well as NTC served two alias Cease and Desist orders to ABS-CBN yesterday, June 30.
