LG outs PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier face mask!

LG today has announced the PuriCare Wearable Air Purifier, a portable air purifier that you can easily wear on your face like a mask.

The device highlights a pair of replaceable H13 HEPA filters with 2x battery-powered three-speed fans to help you breathe.

This pandemic-ready product also has sensors that detect when you're breathing in or out and accordingly adjust the fans' speeds.

The company also boasts that it is designed on extensive face analysis to make the mask fit most face while reducing air leakage around the nose and chin area.

With removable filters

LG said that it has 820mAh of battery that could be worn up to eight hours on low mode and two hours on high-mode. To sanitize the device when not in use, the charging case of the device even has UV-LED lights.

Through the ThinQ mobile app, LG PuriCare Wearable users will be notified if it needs charging or cleaning.

The mask and air purifier in one will be featured at the IFA 2020 in Berlin Germany along with other LG devices.

There's no word about its pricing and availability yet.
