Almost a year after it was first announced, Microsoft is finally allowing anyone to pre-order the Surface Duo in the US starting today.

To recall, the Microsoft Duo features a foldable design with two displays. It uses 2x 5.6-inch OLED screens with 1800 x 1350 resolution 4:3 ratio for a total of 8.1-inch with 2700 x 1800 resolution and 3:2 aspect ratio when unfolded.
The displays are protected by Corning's Corilla Glass protection technology.

For the specs, the device runs with the 7nm Snapdragon 855 SoC, 6GB RAM, 256Gb storage, and 3,577mAh battery capacity with an "all-day" battery life promise and USB-C charging port.
At the back, it uses an 11MP f/2.0 main camera with HDR multi-frame capture, low light, and up to 7x basic "super" zoom
The Duo also has 4G LTE, but there's no 5G support, unlike most modern high-end Android devices
It's probably one of the sexiest devices we’ve ever built, says Windows and devices chief Panos Panay in a press briefing ahead of today’s launch. It does things that single-screen devices can’t do, period.
Microsoft also told the press that it runs any Android app and they are working closely with Google to improve productivity.

The Microsoft Surface Duo is now available for pre-order at AT&T, Microsoft's online store, and Best Buy. It'll come with a bumper cover out of the box for extra protection.
There's no info yet when will it be available outside of US.
