Allegedly, OnePlus Clover budget phone with 6,000mAh battery is launching late this year

Based on a new Android Central report, OnePlus might launch its first entry-level smartphone soon. The handset comes with the "Clover" codename and it might be priced in the around USD 200 range.

The first budget OnePlus phone soon?

According to its reliable source who previously predicted that the OnePlus Nord will feature a selfie dual-cam setup, the handset will feature a 6.52-inch HD+ LCD display, 11nm  Snapdragon 460 with Adreno 610 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, and 6,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging.

The handset will also feature a 13MP f/2.2 + 2MP f/2.4 + 2MP f/2.4 triple-camera setup, fingerprint sensor at the back, 3.5mm jack, WiFi ac, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, and Android 10 OS with Oxygen OS 10 on top.

Likely, OnePlus opted for the 720p display and the 6,000mAh battery to provide a sure two-day battery life. But most likely, it won't feature an ultra-wide camera due to its use of 2x 2MP f/2.4 sensors that could be for macro and depth effects.

Out of straight conversion (no taxes and duties yet), the USD 200 alleged price tag of the OnePlus Clover is just around PHP 9.6K.

The report added that the phone is expected to launch the handset globally later this year.
