Samsung releases Crystal UHD TV TU8000 (2020) series in the Philippines, starts at PHP 22,999!

Samsung just released its latest line of value-for-money Smart TVs in the Philippines—the Crystal UHD TV TU8000 (2020) series.

Samsung bang-for-the-buck Smart TVs

Coming from older-gen Samsung TVs, the new Crystal UHD TV TU8000 (2020) series sports a modern design with a clean cable solution (not available with the 43-inch model) to neatly hide cables at the back of the TV, snap-on steady feet, and an improved display with super-slim bezels (3-Side Bezel-less Design).

The TV is Netflix ready as expected

It comes with a new Crystal Display (LED) with UHD 3840 x 2160 resolution, a wider range of colors versus Samsung Conventional TV, 4K Upscaling, and Dolby Digital Plus. It also has UHD Dimming, Contrast Enhancer, Natural Mode Support, and Film Mode.

Inside, the TV uses the Cyrstal Processor 4K that optimizes colors, contrast ratio, and HDR.

The TV also highlights an Ambient Mode to allow the screen to blends into your decor seamlessly. You can choose the wallpaper background and it can display important information like the weather/time.

For audio, it has an improved 2CH 20W speakers with to deliver really loud and crisp tunes even if you do not have a soundbar. It also has a Mini and Vesa wall mount support.

The TV also has WiFi 5, Bluetooth 4.2, ISDB-T, 3x HDMI, 1x HDMI A, 1x eARC, 1x Composite In (AV), 1x Digital Audio Out (Optical), 2x USB, 1x Ethernet (LAN), and 1x RF In.

It uses the One Remote Control with mic for voice commands to access Bixby Voice Assistant. The TV runs with Tizen OS with Amazon Alexa and AirPlay 2 compatibility.

Samsung also highlights its Tap View feature to connect your Samsung smartphone in a tap on the sides. It also has the Digital Butler (SmartThings) to allow its users to easily connect and control smart mobile devices and home appliances with the TV. It can also be used to control the TV even if you are not at home.
