A new minimalist look for Intel

It now has no rings and a simpler look

The new design is now moving away from the previous design that shows the word "Intel" enclosed in a ring that has been used by the company for more than 14 years.

This also starts the ball rolling for a brand-wide design refresh that pushes for a more minimalist design for the company's products from Pentium to its Optane memory chips.

The logo features an updated font choice with a more streamlined look compared to the previous one that featured clipped and curved edges. It maintains the boxed period above the "i" though that has been present since the first logo.

The redesign is not limited to the logos it seems. A preview of the new Intel Core i9 box was also revealed in the video as well which looks stylish yet minimalist. The classic blue Intel color is still present though. So, yes, Intel users, you are still Team Blue.

This logo update also comes at the same time as Intel announced its first batch of 11th Gen Tiger Lake processors for laptops that features the new integrated Xe graphics, Thunderbolt 4 support, WiFi 6, and a big improvement in performance, especially in thin and light laptops.

Are you ready to see the new Intel branding on your laptops and computer stores?
