Prices vary from CNY 16,999 to CNY 19,999

These Huawei Mate Xs units were gifted to employees during an internal event for Tencent PCG following the company's recent restructuring. However, a number of employees saw the gift as an opportunity to earn on the side. Numerous listings of the gifted Mate Xs have surfaced online at varying prices. In addition, according to a report, the number of Mate Xs smartphones being sold rose in numbers after the said event.

To recap, the Mate Xs is Huawei's foldable smartphone that features a MASSIVE 8-inch curved OLED display. Inside is a Kirin 990 5G octa-core processor, mali-g76 GPU, 8GB RAM, 512GB of internal storage and a large 4500mAh battery with 55W SuperCharge.

The gifted Huawei Mate Xs have a customized label exclusive to the Tencent variant. This could add to its resale value since it becomes a limited edition variant of the foldable smartphone. That's why the prices are all over the place from CNY 16,999 (around PHP 121K) up to CNY 19,999 (around to PHP 143K).
