Fujifilm X-S10 with IBIS, 4K and 240fps slow motion priced in the PH!

Fujifilm has just introduced the new X-S10 X-series camera with 26MP X-Trans 4, X-Processor 4, and a new IBIS mechanism.

Fujifilm introduces its latest APS-C mirrorless camera with a new IBIS mechanism called the X-S10. It features a 26MP X-Trans sensor and X-Processor 4 that is also found in the X-T4. This new IBIS mechanism is 30 percent smaller than the X-T4's IBIS unit but now is rated up to 6-stops of shake reduction compared to the X-T4's 6.5-stops.

For stills, it can take images at up to 20fps continuous drive and save it in either JPEG and 14-bit RAW. ISO range is 80 to 51200 while the shutter speed goes up to 900 seconds (or 15minutes) up to 1/32000 sec.

The camera is capable of shooting up to 4K/30fps  up to 8-bit 4:2:0 internally and up to 10-bit 4:2:2 externally via HDMI port. It is able to record up to 240fps slow motion in FHD resolution and the new Digital Image Stabilization mode also adds another way of reducing shake in the footage.

At the back are a fully articulating 1.04M-dot 3-inch LCD display and a built-in 2.36M-dot electronic viewfinder. The camera offers a single UHS-I SD card slot and the battery is rated for 325 shots per charge.

The body measures at only 126 x 85 x 65mm and weighs only 365 grams.

Aside from the new Camera, Fujifilm also introduced the new FUJINON Lens XF10-24mmF4 R OIS WR. It replaces the original non-Weather Resistant version and the OIS has been improved that it is now rated up to 6.5-stops of stabilization. What is impressive is that even with the addition of the improvements and Weather Sealing, the body manages to be several grams lighter.

The FUJINON XF 10-24 F4 R OIS WR will be available in late November of 2020 in the Philippines while the Fujifilm X-S10 body and kit lens will be available in the latter part of October 2020.
