realme 7 5G with 120Hz screen and Dimensity 800U SoC unveiled

realme earlier unleashed a new version of the realme 7 for the European and Indian market—the realme 7 5G.

realme 7 5G has a similar design coming from the realme 7, but it has an upgraded display, a speedier chip, and slightly different internals.

This new also device sports a 6.5-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a punch-hole for the 16MP selfie camera, but instead of 90Hz, it uses a smoother 120Hz refresh rate panel.

As the name suggests, it has 5G connectivity. Inside, it uses a 7nm MediaTek Dimensity 800U SoC solution with Mali-G57 MC3 GPU and an integrated 5G modem for dual 5G SIM support.

It is paired with 6GB or 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and the same 5,000mAh battery with USB-C 30W fast charging capability.

For cameras, it uses a 48MP f/1.8 main shooter instead of a 64MP f/1.7 Sony IMX682 sensor. The rest of the sensors to complete the quad-camera setup are the same. It comes with an 8MP f/2.3 119-degree ultra-wide-angle cam + 2MP f/2.4 4cm macro cam + 2MP f/2.4 mono cam + LED flash.

The device also dons a new color called Baltic Blue. It also has a side-mounted fingerprint reader, dual-band WiFi, 4G LTE, GPS, and Android 10 OS with realme UI skin.
