Apple iPhone 12 series now available for pre-order at Smart

Smart just unveiled that Apple iPhone 12 series is now available for pre-order through its online store. It includes all 4 models starting with Mini.

This was teased in late November and now it is here. The series will be available with a wide range of Signature Device Plans. You can get the devices with Signature Device Plan S up to Signature 5G Device Plan XL with cashout varying from PHP 49,600 to PHP 0 depending on the device + plan combo.

As a recap, the iPhone 12 series debuted last October. The new iPhones feature a refreshed design, 5G connectivity, Ceramic Shield, and MagSafe wireless charging technology and accessories.

Powering all four models is the 5nm A14 Bionic chip. It is touted as the world's first 5nm chip by Apple. It is said to have over 11.8 billion transistors. It also has a new 4-core GPU as well as a 16-core Neural Engine machine learning controller.

The new iPhones also feature a flat aluminum body with IP68 water and dust resistance. For photos, the iPhone 12 and 12 Mini are a dual camera set-up of a 12MP f/1.6 main camera and a 12MP f/2.4 ultra-wide camera. The iPhone 12 Pro has a 12MP f/1.6 main camera, 12MP f/2.4 120-degree ultra-wide camera, 12MP f/2.0 telephoto camera, and a LiDAR sensor. The iPhone 12 Pro Max has an exclusive 1.7nm 12MP f/1.6 main camera.

Smart promises application approval within 24 hours. Delivery for the devices once ready will take 1 to 3 business days for Metro Manila, 3 to 5 business days for Luzon outside Metro Manila, and 5 to 8 business days for Visayas and Mindanao. It also comes with free shipping and delivery nationwide.
