CES 2021: ASUS announces new series of ZenBook, ExpertBook, Chromebook laptops

At CES 2021, ASUS announced new ZenBook, ExpertBook, and Chromebook laptops. There are also AMD Ryzen 5000-U series powered laptops as well.

ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED

ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 and ZenBook Duo 14

First up, the ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED is a high-performance dual-screen laptop. It has a 15-inch 4K OLED screen for the main screen and a 14-inch 4K UHD ScreenPad Plus for the secondary display. Inside, it features an Intel Core i9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU, up to 32GB RAM, and a 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD storage. This is a premium laptop that is great for both content creation and gaming.

ASUS ZenBook Duo 14

Next is the ASUS ZenBook Duo 14. It also has a dual-screen setup with a 14-inch 1080p main screen and a 12.6-inch ScreenPad Plus at 1920 x 515 resolution. Both are touchscreens and have a maximum brightness of 400 nits.

Inside, it has an 11th Gen Intel Core i7 processor with a boost clock of 4.7GHz, integrated Intel Iris XE, NVIDIA GeForce MX450 discrete GPU, 16GB RAM, and a 1TB PCIe 3.0 x4 SSD. It also has ASUS Intelligent Performance Technology which can give a performance boost of up to 40 percent in Performance Mode.

Both the ZenBook Pro Duo 15 OLED and ZenBook Duo 14 come bundled with an ASUS pen for creatives.

Now, we have the ZenBook 13 OLED and ZenBook 14. First, the ZenBook 13 OLED features a 13-inch FHD OLED HDR NanoEdge display that promises to render true-to-life colors at any brightness level. It also features deep blacks for enhanced immersion as well. The screen is also PANTONE validated for a cinema-grade 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut. It is also TÜV Rheinland-certified for eye protection.

The ASUS ZenBook 14 is touted as the world's thinnest 14-inch laptop with a QHD screen to date measuring at just 14.3 mm. It also features up to 16 hours of battery life on a single charge. It features the durable ErgoLift hinge, edge-to-edge keyboard, ASUS AI Noise-Canceling Audio technology.

ASUS ExpertBook Series: ExpertBook B9 and ExpertBook B1

The ASUS ExpertBook B9 features the Intel vPro platform to help business users build a reassured infrastructure and advanced ASUS two-way AI noise-canceling technology. It can also take advantage of improved remote operation with the vPro platforms hardware-enhanced security and high tier performance. It has Intel Hardware Shield and Intel Active Management Technology for added security as well.

The ASUS ExpertBook B1 is designed for heavy-duty performance that is perfect for startup businesses, educational organizations, and firms. It features 11th Gen Intel Core processors with Intel Iris Xe graphics. It also uses ASUS Intelligent Performance Technology for smart power and thermal management.

ASUS Chromebook CX9

ASUS Chromebook CX9

ASUS Chromebook CX9 is a durable yet slim and lightweight Chromebook. It features a magnesium-alloy chassis that is only 16mm thin yet tough enough to pass MIL-STD 810H military tests. It has a 14-inch NanoEdge display for an immersive and unobstructed experience.

Price ad availability is yet to be unveiled in detail. However, ASUS says that all products are expected to reach the Philippine market soon.
