TCL Nxtpaper among others announced

TCL Nxtpaper

First up, the TCL Nxtpaper is a new tablet Reader. It has an NCVM-composite sheet for its display panel instead of an LCD panel. It uses non-conductive vacuum metallization which makes the panel not conduct electricity. The panel has full-color support and a 1440 x 1080 resolution.

Another feature of the NCVM panel is that it does not need any backlight. In turn, this eliminates blue light exposure that strains the user's eyes. TCL's main goal is to provide a tablet that can be used for extended periods of time since a lot of people especially students shifted to digital work and schooling. However, this means resorting to a dedicated external light connected via USB.

Inside, it has a 2.0GHz MediaTek MT8768E octa-core processor, PowerVR GE8320 GPU, 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging technology. It is marketed to have up to 400 hours of standby time due to the new low-power display.
