vivo S7t with Dimensity 820 SoC in the works

Leaker Digital Chat Station earlier revealed that vivo will launch the third member of the S7 soon. Allegedly, it'll be called the S7t.

MediaTek's Dimensity 820 SoC instead of Snapdragon 765G

The leaker noted that it'll be powered by the Dimensity 820 SoC instead of Qualcomm 7nm EUV Snapdragon 765G. To recap, Dimensity 820 is a 5G SoC that uses 4x ARM Cortex-A76 cores at 2.6GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. This chip is paired with the ARM's Mali-G57 GPU, and an integrated 5G modem with sub-6Ghz support.

For design and specs, it'll have plenty of similarities from the regular S7. The device will use a 2.5D curved glass back with a rectangular-shaped camera hump. In front, it'll feature a 6.44-inch FHD+ AMOLED screen with an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Its chip is expected to be paired with 8GB RAM, 128GB or 256GB storage, and a 4,000mAh battery with USB-C 33W fast charging.

For cameras, it'll highlight a 64MP main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide cam, and 2MP depth camera.

There's no word about the rest of its specs, type of OS, pricing, and availability yet.
