How netizens helped this viral Nanay score a laptop of her own

On Valentine's night last Sunday, a photo circulated online that warmed the hearts of many.

In case you missed it, a viral post has helped this nanay (mom or grand mom) get a laptop of her own after using a demo MacBook unit and free internet to talk to her family. 

Families have not seen each other for the longest time, it’s good that technology enables us to keep in touch at least virtually, at least for those who can afford it. But for those that can’t, there are people like these employees who give a helping hand. Good job!, said uploader Walter So.

Apparently, the store where the viral nanay's photo was taken was on Power Mac Center in Makati City. 

The next day after the viral photo was posted, Power Mac Center has released the following statement on their official Facebook page:

If you didn't share the photo, you probably came across it on your feed and reacted to it because it instantly brings positivity and joy most especially on Valentine's Day.

She can't afford a gadget to be able to connect with her family and so she frequents the store, so that she can use the demo MacBook and free internet and chat with her family and check Facebook. I'm not sure why her kids would not buy her any gadget, but knowing the motherly value of selflessness, I'm sure she is telling her kids she has all that she needs, shared uploader Walter So on Facebook.

The same uploader put an update on the said Facebook post adding two additional photos with nanay holding her own Rose Gold MacBook (2020) given by an anonymous person!
