Basically, HP will buy the HyperX brand from current owner Kingston. But, it noted that Kingston will retain the DRAM, flash, and SSD products for gamers and enthusiasts.

HyperX has a variety of gaming focused-accessories from keyboards to microphones.

HP's new HyperX brand will likely be a good complement to its own gaming brand Omen. Plus, thanks to the HyperX fanbase (one of the most notable brands in this market), HP might be able to compete better with the likes of Razer, Logitech, and more.

According to the post by online news publication The Verge, HP told them that the Ngenuity companion app used for some HyperX accessories will continue to exist and will not be rolled into the Omen Control Center software used at this time.

Now, are you guys excited to see how HP can improve HyperX?
