Clearly targeting those on a tighter budget who wants to experience the camera prowess of the P40 5G (PHP 36,990 SRP), the P40 4G in China comes with a more affordable price tag of CNY 3,998 or around PHP 30K out of straight conversion.

But the rest are similar, the handset is boasting an n IP53 rated 3D glass body with a 6.1-inch OLED screen, FHD+ resolution, In-Display fingerprint reader, and a punch-hole for the 32MP selfie camera with IR depth sensor.

It also has 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage via NM card, and a 3,800mAh battery with USB-C 22.5W wired charging as well as a Leica triple-cam starring the new 50MP RYYB f/1.9 OIS Ultra Vision Wide camera with 1/1.28-inch sensor size, 16MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera, 8MP f/2.4 with 3x optical zoom and a Color Temperature Sensor.

The device also has an advanced WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, dual-band GPS, NFC, and dual SIM with eSIM.

The difference, the chipset. It is using the 4G version of the 7nm Kirin 990 4G processor with a Dual NPU instead of the Kirin 990 5G with Triple NPU and Balong 5000 5G modem.
