OPPO, Mineski PH, Globe, Riot Games team up to launch Valorant, and Wild Rift tournaments for 2021

The tournament roadmap

With this partnership, OPPO will be the official smartphone brand partner. The company pledges to provide support by providing the best and latest smartphones to the players to ensure peak performance while gaming.

Mineski Philippines will be tasked to build and sustain the momentum of the growing esports and gaming industry in the Philippines using Riot's most popular games. Mineski will operate the official national tournaments through the Philippine Pro Gaming League or PPGL. These tournaments will allow local teams to represent the country in SEA tournaments and eventually on the world stage.

Mineski PH holds licenses to hold tournaments for both Valorant and League of Legends: Wild Rift. Globe will co-present the tournaments along with PPGL.

Wild Rift Points System by Globe

The Wild Rift tournaments will implement a points system. The "Wild Rift Points System by Globe" will govern the total cash prize that the best performing teams accumulate during the national tournament. The total prize pool amounts to PHP 10,000,000 and the points will also determine how a team can further advance into the Philippine Playoffs.
