With this firmware update, users can easily connect the ZV-1 to a PC via USB to allow high-quality video streaming and the built-in microphone for clear audio. This is perfect for streaming via social media platforms and even video conferences.

To recap, the vlogging camera comes with a 1-inch 20MP stacked CMOS sensor, BIONZ X Processor, 24-70 f/1.8-2.8 equivalent lens, and a fully-articulating 921,600 dot 3-inch TFT Touch display. It can record up to 4K at 30fps, 1080p at up to 120fps or 960fps Slow Motion with autofocus.

The body measures 105 x 60 x 43.5 mm and weighs only 294 grams.

This is a great update since the demand for quality live streaming increased during the lockdown. It allows the ZV-1's HQ video as well as UVC/UAC audio support to be utilized more than just recording. The update is now available via Windows and Mac downloads.
