vivo outs S7t with MediaTek Dimensity 820 5G SoC in China

vivo today announced the S7t in China. Based on its design and specs, this is similar to the vivo S7, but with a different chipset.

Instead of Snapdragon 765G of the S7, the vivo S7t is boasting a Dimensity 820 is a 5G SoC that is using 4x ARM Cortex-A76 cores at 2.6GHz and 4x Cortex-A55 cores at 2.0GHz. This chip is paired with the ARM's Mali-G57 GPU and an integrated 5G modem with sub-6GHz support.

Design of vivo S7t

The design is identical. It is still using the glass gradient body in Blue or Black colors with a triple-camera island consisting of a 64MP main camera, an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP depth camera.

In the front, you'll see a 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and a notch for the 44MP main cam + 8MP ultra-wide cam.

Its chip is paired with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage. This is powered by a 4,000mAh battery with a USB-C 33W fast charging solution.

Of course, it has an In-Display fingerprint reader, dual-band WiFi, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS, and dual SIM slots.

This loads with Android 11 OS with OriginOS skin.

In China, this is now available for pre-order. There's no info on when will it be available outside of the said region yet.
