Huawei brings MateStation S with AMD Ryzen 5 and Display 23.8" in the Philippines

On schedule, Huawei today launched the MateStation S and Display 23.8" in the Philippines.

Tower of power and a large monitor for less?

Huawei MateStation S is the very first PC from the Chinese tech giant released for the Philippine market.

MateStation S brings the power of a PC in a minimalist and slim form factor. It features a slim tower case in a gray colorway in star trail metallic design with a 7nm AMD Ryzen 5 4600G 6-core processor, AMD Radeon Vega Graphics, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and 256GB SSD.

Despite its slim and space-saving profile, the laptop has plenty of connectivity options and ports. It comes with WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac (5GHz/2.4GHz), 2x USB-A 3.2, 2x USB-A 2.0, 1x mic slot, 1x line out, 1x line-in, 1x RJ45, 1x VGA, 1x Serial, 1x Ethernet, and 1x HDMI port.

In the front of the PC, it goes with 1x USB-A 3.2, 1x USB-C port with 9V/2A fast charging, 3.5 mm headphone slot, and a power key.

This also has an optional Huawei Ultra-Slim Wired Keyboard with metal texture, 2.5mm keystroke, scissor button, and a fingerprint reader and NFC Huawei Share support for wireless file transfer, multi-screen collaboration, file transfer, and cross-device editing. The PC comes with a pre-installed Windows 10 OS.

It measures 315.5 x 93 x 93 mm and weighs 4.2 kg.

Meanwhile, the Huawei Display 23.8" features an IPS panel with a matte-like finish. It goes with a thin base with a quick-release button and a tiltable design. The display goes with FHD 1920 x 1080 resolution with 90 percent screen-to-body ratio, a color gamut of 72 percent NTSC, TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free Certification, TÜV Rheinland Low Bluelight Certification.

It also goes with 1x HDMI and 1x VGA ports. The top, left, and right bezels are 5.7 mm slim.
