Expected to launch soon

The Moto G50 will get a teardrop notch design, HD+ display with a 90Hz high refresh rate. It is expected to be powered by Qualcomm's entry-level 5G chipset which is the Snapdragon 480 or the Snapdragon 750G. It will be coupled with either 4GB or 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage.

The battery certified by TÜV Rheinland will have 4,850mAh charging at 20W, but in 3C's certification, it was only 10W standard charging.

It will get a triple-camera setup where the main camera has a 48MP main cam, 5MP for the ultra-wide-angle, and 2MP for the macro camera. The selfie camera will get a 13MP shooter.

The phone XT2137 also codenamed "Ibiza" was leaked a couple of times before and the price revealed was for the 4/128GB variant of the Moto G50, which is around EUR 230, and upon seeing how much it cost, this makes it the cheapest 5G phone yet by Motorola.

If this is converted straight to Philippine currency with no tax included, that makes it around PHP 13K.

There have been only a couple of affordable 5G handsets in the Philippines, the Motorola Moto G 5G and the OnePlus Nord N10 5G but they cost around PHP 15-17K.

The Moto G50 is expected to be revealed in Europe and India. We have no information yet for its launch in the Philippines.

What do you guys think?
