Xiaomi is dropping the price of its popular Redmi Note 9 series. The Redmi Note 9s and Redmi Note 9 Pro will get a permanent PHP 1,000 price cut.

You can now get the Redmi Note 9S and Redmi 9 Note Pro at a more affordable price. As a recap. the Redmi Note 9S is a 6.67-inch 2.5D curved FHD+ LTPS screen with 2400 x 1080 resolution and 395 ppi pixel density. It also has Gorilla Glass 5 protection. 

It also has the 2.3GHz 8nm Snapdragon 720H octa-core processor, Adreno 618 GPU, up to 6GB LPDDR4X, up to 128GB UFS 2.1 expandable storage, and a 5,020mAh battery with 18W fast charging. 

Redmi Note 9s has a quad-camera setup with a combo of 48MP f/1.79 Samsung ISOCELL GM2 w/ PDAF, EIS + 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle + 5MP f/2.4 2cm macro + 2MP f/2.4 depth + dual-tone LED flash. For selfies, it has a 16MP f/2.48 sensor.

The Redmi Note 9 Pro is the higher-end version of the Note 9S. It still uses a 3D curved Gorilla Glass 5 back with P2i water splash resistance. The front is also a center punch-hole 6.67-inch FHD+ display with Gorilla Glass 5 as well.
