More Huawei Wearables for early 2021!

In February 2021, Huawei introduced the FreeBuds 4i in China. The new audio wearables feature Active Noise Cancellation and up to 10 hours of continuous playback. Fast forward to today, Huawei has officially brought the new FreeBuds 4i to the Philippines.

At the core of the FreeBuds 4i are 10mm Dynamic drivers that work with an unnamed SoC.

Huawei claims that the Active Noise Cancellation works by using the internal acoustics and algorithmic components to isolate external noise which results in more 'immersive audio' regardless of the environment. 

The FreeBuds 4i's Awareness Mode also allows users to choose the degree of ANC so they can still communicate with other people while listening to music. Huawei says that this feature is perfect for study sessions, focus-dependent work, and workouts.

Inside each bud is a 55mAh battery while inside the charging case is a larger 215mAh battery. Huawei boasts that the FreeBuds 4iwas able to last for 10 hours of continuous playback. Also, a 10-minute charge with the included charging case is able to offer 4 hours of playback.

Lastly, the FreeBuds 4i can work with both Android and iOS devices and features an elegant design.

It comes in Ceramic White, Carbon Black and Red.

While earlier this month, in Malaysia, Huawei also announced the Huawei Band 6 fitness wearable with several health-focused features with a new more refined design and building materials. Alongside the FreeBuds 4i, Huawei also announced the Band 6 for its Philippine-based customers.

The Band 6 is Huawei's take on a wearable fitness tracker that works as a health companion, exercise buddy, and smart assistant in one. In front of the Band 6 is a 1.47-inch FullView AMOLED touch display. It features the usual heart rate, exercise/workout, and sleep monitoring. A new feature is the All-day SpO2 monitoring that measures the user's blood oxygen levels.

Lastly, the Band 6 is rated for 2-weeks of battery life and charges via a proprietary cable charger.

Both devices pair with the Huawei AI Life app that allows for granular controls and customization of features.
