True is Thailand's only fully integrated telecommunications provider, offering mobile services, broadband internet, television, content, as well as digital and other telecommunication services.

Customers in Thailand can now access Smart's 5G roaming services as long as they have a 5G-ready SIM card and smartphone.

In a statement, PLDT's wireless arm said customers can subscribe to the GigaRoam Thailand data pack. Subscribers only need to shell out PHP 1,299 to enjoy 100GB, valid for 10 days.

Smart's recently launched GigaRoam packs provide more data allocation with extended validity and are designed to give roamers seamless connectivity while overseas. All they need to do is to go to roam.smart.com.ph while they are abroad to avail of these special packages.

Currently, Smart's 5G roaming is now available in 15 countries.

It activated its 5G roaming in Australia with Vodafone; in China with China Mobile; in Bahrain, Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia with Zain; full 5G roaming coverage in the United Arab Emirates with Etisalat; in Taiwan with FarEasTone; and in South Korea with KT Corp.
