Acer announced the new Predator Triton and Helios gaming laptops powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core H-series CPUs and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 series.

Acer Predator Triton 500 SE, Helion 500 notebooks unveiled

Acer Predator Triton 500 SE

First up, the Predator Triton 500 SE is a special edition gaming notebook. It features a 16-inch 16:10 display with an 87 percent screen-to-body ratio. There are three options namely a 165Hz WQXGA LCD display, 165Hz WQXGA Mini LED panel with 1,250 nits peak brightness, 100 percent sRGB color gamut, and a 240Hz WQXGA PolarBlack IPS panel with 1,250 nits peak brightness with 3ms response time. 

This is designed to handle the latest AAA games with ease. It features up to an 11th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 mobile GPU, up to 64GB 3200MHz DDR4 RA, and up to 4TB PCIe Gen4 storage, It also features up to 12 hours of a better life and NVIDIA Advanced Optimus technology.

It also has Intel Killer E3100G Ethernet Controller, Intel Killer WiFi 6 AX1650i, Control Center 2.0, USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports, dual Thunderbolt 4 Type-C ports, and an SD 7.0 card reader.

Acer Predator Helios 500

The Predator Helion 500 gaming laptop features a 17.3-inch 4K mini LED AUO AmLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and full-array local dimming. There's also an FHD option with a 360Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time.

Inside, it has an 11th Gen Intel Core i9 processor, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 mobile GPU, 64GB 3200MHz DDR4 RAM, and a pair of NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 or one SATA HDD. It also has a 1 x HDMI 2.0 port, 1 x mini-DisplayPort 1.4, 2 x USB-C Thunderbolt 4 ports, Intel Killer E3100G Ethernet Controller, Intel Killer WiFi 6 AX1650i, and Control Center 2.0.

The pricing and availability for both laptops are yet to be disclosed. We will update you as soon as we get more information. Acer states that exact specs, prices, and availability will vary per region so stay tuned.
