Huawei launches HarmonyOS 2-powered MatePad Pro 12.6 in the Philippines!

Through an online launch, tech giant Huawei earlier introduced the new MatePad Pro 12.6 in the Philippine market.

Dubbed as the company's largest and most powerful tablet yet, the tablet highlights a massive display, 5nm chip, plenty of cameras, a lot of speakers, a new-gen stylus, and the new HarmonyOS 2 with enhanced Huawei Share Multi-Screen Collaboration.

In particular, the device is sporting a 12.6-inch OLED screen with 2560 x 1600 resolution with slim bezels at a 90 percent screen-to-body ratio. It also has ΔE<0.5 Color Accuracy, DCI-P3 Wide Color Gamut, and 1,000,000:1 Contrast Ratio along with hardware-level low blue light eye protection and TÜV Rheinland Full Care Display 2.0 certification.

Inside, it is powered by the 3.13GHz 5nm+ EUV Kirin 9000E 5G octa-core processor with Dual NPU (Big-Core + Tiny-Core), Mali-G78 MP22 GPU with GPU Turbo (New-Gen), 8GB RAM, 256GB expandable storage via NM card slot, and large 10,050mAh battery with USB-C 40W SuperCharge + 27W Wireless Charge +  10W Reverse Wireless Charge.

A tablet with triple-cam

This tablet also has a 13MP + 8MP + 3D Depth triple-camera configuration, an 8MP selfie cam that could be good for zoom calls, 8x Harman Kardon speakers with Histen 7.0 Sound Effect, 5x microphones, and HarmonyOS 2.

MatePad Pro 12.6 is the company's first HarmonyOS 2 tablet in the country highlighting plenty of productivity features such as Mirror Mode, Extend Mode, and Collaborate Mode, among others.

It also has support for an optional keyboard making it a 2-in-1 tablet/laptop and a second-generation M-Pencil for jotting down notes or unleashing your creative side.
