Lenovo Legion Phone Duel 2 now official in the Philippines, starts at PHP 39,995!

Lenovo today formally launched the Legion Phone Duel 2 gaming smartphone in the Philippines.

Coming from the first legion, it brings upgrades in the display, speed, cooling, and many more.

Improved cooling system

To recap, the handset has a unique back design with two square designs and a glass island for the cameras, cooling fans, and a customizable RGB Legion logo in Titanium White and Ultimate Black colorways. It also has shoulder buttons via haptic feedback and ultrasonic sensors on the side of the phone and two capacitive touchpoints on the back for better gaming controls as well.

For the display, it sports a full-display 6.92-inch 2.5D curved Gorilla Glass 5 protected AMOLED screen w/ 144Hz refresh rate, 720Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+, Pixelworks i6 AI tunning, FHD+ 2460 x 1080 resolution at 388 ppi, and an In-Display fingerprint reader. This is an upgrade versus the first Legion except for the lack of Gorilla Glass 6 protection.

Dual batteries

Under the hood, you will find the faster and better 2.84GHz 5nm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor with Adreno 660 GPU. It also has up to 18GB RAM (only up to 16GB LPDDR5 in PH), up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 5,500mAh battery with USB-C 65W Fast Charging and an option for up to 90W Turbo Charging using its two USB-C ports.

At the back, it has a dual-camera setup featuring 64MP f/1.9 OV64A sensor + 16MP f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide-angle + LED flash. On the side, it has a "streamer-ready" pop-up selfie camera using Samsung's 44MP f/2.0 GH1 camera with AF via landscape mode.
