Originally priced at PHP 7,999 back in 2019, the Flare S8 Prime now retails for just PHP 4,999.

At PHP 4,999, it is probably the most affordable smartphone in the country with an all-screen display and a pop-up camera.

To recap, this handset is boasting a 6.53-inch FHD+ LCD with no punch-hole or notch thanks to its use of a 16MP pop-up selfie shooter.

Inside, it is using the 2.0GHz 16nm Helio P23 octa-core processor paired with 4GB RAM, 64GB expandable storage, and 3,300mAh battery capacity with USB-C charging. It also has a 16MP f/1.8 Sony IMX298 shooter paired with a 5MP depth sensor along with a fingerprint sensor at the back.

The Helio P23 chip it is using is not the fastest for the price, but it has 4GB RAM and 64GB storage unlike most sub-PHP 5K phones with a 3GB/32GB memory option.
