Samsung Galaxy F22 with 90Hz AMOLED screen, 6,000mAh battery, and Helio G80 now official

Samsung launched its latest budget smartphone called the Galaxy F22. Key specs of this include a 90Hz screen, Helio G80 SoC, and a 6,000mAh battery.

It features MediaTek's Helio G80 octa-core processor

The Samsung Galaxy F22 features a textured back with a square camera hump and a typical Samsung branding.

6,000mAh battery is included as well

Upfront, it has a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with HD+ resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, 600 nits peak brightness, Infinity-U notch, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection. Inside, it has the 2.0GHz MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor, Mali-G52 MC2 GPU, up to 6GB RAM, up to 128GB expandable storage, and a 6,000mAh battery with USB-C 25W fast charging support.

For cameras, it has a quad-camera setup with 48MP ISOCELL GM2 main sensor + 8MP ultra-wide-camera with 123-degree FoV + 2MP macro camera + 2MP depth sensor with LED flash. For selfies, it has a 13MP selfie camera.

It also has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, Dolby Atmos, and a single bottom-firing speaker.

It features DWiFi, Bluetooth, 4G LTE, and Android 11 with OneUI 3.1

The handset measures 159.9 x 74 x 9.3 mm and weighs 203 grams.

The Samsung Galaxy F22 is available in Denim Blue and Denim Black. It will be available in India starting July 13.
