Qualcomm now has its own modern smartphone!

To make this possible the second-largest mobile chipmaker partnered with Taiwanese tech giant ASUS. This is meant to showcase Qualcomm’s software features that integrate with Qualcomm hardware. It also has news, tips, forums, masterclasses, access to experts, and even backstage access to events.

At the back, it features a unique yet simple back design with a horizontally-aligned camera hump with red accents.

Interestingly, there's a fingerprint reader in the middle portion at the back as well. This is the Qualcomm 2nd generation 3D Sonic Sensor, but they weren't able to put it on the display of the handset due to its incompatibility with the rigid OLED panel that the smartphone is using.

It also has a self-illuminating Snapdragon logo.

In front, it uses a large 6.78-inch Samsung AMOLED panel with 2448 x 1080 resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and Always On support as well as Gorilla Glass Victus protection. There's no punch-hole or notch, but it has a slightly thick bezel where you will see its 24MP main shooter.

Obviously, it is powered by a Qualcomm chipset and powerful overall specs. It is using the non-plus version of the Snapdragon 888 with Adreno 660 SoC, a 5nm chip with 5G connectivity. It also has 16GB LPDDR5 RAM, 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 4,000mAh battery with Qualcomm's Quick Charge 5.0 charging support via USB-C.

Qualcomm said that it could reach a 70 percent charge in 30 minutes and a full charge in 50 minutes.

For cameras, it uses a 64MP f/1.8 main shooter + 12MP f/2.2 ultra-wide camera + an 8MP telephoto lens with up to 3x zoom. It will come with ASUS image tuning and Qualcomm AI camera tricks like auto zoom and AI object tracking.

For audio, it has two speakers for stereo playback and a 4x HDR microphone with a dynamic range of 114 dB.

At DxOMark, it achieved an Audio score of 77 points, the 4th highest today.
It even has a FREE pair of Snapdragon Sound produced by Master & Dynamic TWS earbuds

The package of the device also comes with a pair of TWS earbuds with Snapdragon Sound produced by Master & Dynamic, a bumper case, a Qualcomm Quick Charge 5.0 power adapter, and two charging cables.

The handset weighs 210 grams.
