Likely to bring the P50 series to the European region?

According to the source, Huawei's event will start at 3 PM CET and Derek Yu will host it. Yu is the Huawei Consumer Business Group President for Central Eastern Europe, Nordic, and Canada.

As seen in the teaser photo, the Chinese tech giant is going to unleash a new smartphone in the market. The poster highlights the side view of this device, and rumors say that it's the Huawei P50.

The tech giant announced the P50 series in China last July this year. To recall, this lineup consists of the vanilla P50 and P50 Pro. The Huawei P50 Pro features a gorgeous design with a camera bump consists of two circles enclosed in an elliptical hump.

This device boasts a 6.6-inch OLED screen with 2,700 x 1,228 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sample rate, 450 ppi pixel density, and 1,440Hz PWM dimming. It also has a punch-hole cutout and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Meanwhile, the Huawei P50 is a slightly smaller one with a 6.5-inch OLED screen with 2,340 x 1080 FHD+ resolution and 369 ppi pixel density. . It also has the same style of camera bump a the back.

Inside, the Pro variant is equipped with the 5nm HiSilicon Kirin 9000 octa-core processor with DaVinci NPU 2.0, Mali-G78 GPU, 8GB RAM, up to 512GB of expandable storage, and a 4,360 mAh battery with 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging. Some variants sport the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 LTE-only SoC.

On the other hand, the P50 sports the new 4G LTE-only variant of the 2.84GHz Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor, Adreno 680 GPU, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB expandable storage, and a 4,100mAh battery with 66W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

Both of the devices feature a quad-camera set up on their rear but the Pro version of course has better specs. It has a 50MP f/1.8 main sensor OIS + 64MP f/3.5 telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom, OIS + 40MP f/1.6 monochrome sensor + 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor with LED flash.

For the P50, it makes use of the following: 50MP f/1.8 main sensor + 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle sensor + 12MP f/3.4 telephoto sensor with 5x optical, 80x digital zoom, OIS + Laser Focus sensor with LED flash.

We still have to wait for Huawei's confirmation if the October event is the international debut of these flagship devices.
