Breaking: Samsung launches Galaxy M32 with Helio G80 and 25W fast charge in PH, priced at PHP 13,490

Targeting young professionals or anyone who is looking for an affordable Samsung handset, the South Korean firm today launched the Galaxy M32 in the Philippines.

Samsung Galaxy M32 is now official in the Philippines!

Exclusively available at Lazada online, the device highlights a curved back cover with a suitcase-like design available in Black and Blue with a top left-aligned square camera hump and an LED flash below.

For specs, it has a slot of similarities coming from the PHP 13,990 Galaxy A32. The handset also has a 6.4-inch 2.5D curved 90Hz AMOLED display, 1080p+ resolution, and a u-shaped notch housing the 20MP selfie camera with Portrait mode and AI face beauty.

Inside, the handset is powered by the 2.0GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G80 octa-core processor with 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery.

The difference? It now supports a faster 25W USB-C charging instead of just 15W. However, it only has 15W out of the box even if it has a 25W charging support.

For cameras, it is slightly different. The device is still using the 64MP + 8MP ultra-wide setup. But, the pair of 5MP shooters for macro and depth is down to just 2MP each.

It uses a side-mounted fingerprint reader instead of an In-Display fingerprint scanner even if it using an AMOLED screen. This confirms that it is using an older type of AMOLED panel versus A32 to keep its price down.
