Google Mobile Services is coming to HONOR devices again

HONOR recently became an independent brand and it stated that it will have Google Mobile Services back to its devices by the end of 2021. This is great as it opens up an opportunity for the HONOR 50 and other future devices to have a more comprehensive application environment and streamlined Android experience.

In China, HONOR 50 was a great success. The company is expecting the same reception and success in Europe. As a recap, it has a 6.57-inch OLED display with 2340 x 1080 FHD+ resolution. Inside, it has the 6nm 2.4GHz Snapdragon 778G octa-core processor, Adreno 642L GPU, up to 12GB RAM, 256GB storage, and a 4,300mAh with 66W SuperCharge fast charging.

For cameras, it also has a quad-camera with 108MP f/1.9 main sensor + 8MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle sensor + 2MP depth sensor + 2MP f/2.4 macro camera with LED flash. It also has a dual-selfie setup with 32MP f/2.2 + 12MP f/2.4 ultra-wide-angle sensor.

It also has an In-Display fingerprint sensor, 5G SA/NSA, dual 4G VoLTE, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS, and USB-C.

No word if the HONOR 50 Pro will also be available in Europe though. Local availability is also yet to be confirmed.
