OPPO A56 5G with MediaTek Dimensity 700 and 5,000mAh battery now official

OPPO A56 5G quietly launched in China. It is boasting the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor and a 5,000mAh battery.

It features the Dimensity 700 SoC and 5,000mAh battery

The OPPO A56 5G features a glossy back with a rectangular camera bump housing the dual camera setup and flash. It also has minimal branding in it too. The screen has slim bezels with a  dewdrop notch for the selfie camera.

For the screen, it has a 6.5-inch Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protected LCD screen with 1600 x 720 HD+ resolution, a 60Hz refresh rate, 120Hz touch sampling rate, 480 nits peak brightness, and 269 ppi pixel density.

Inside, it has the 7nm 2.0GHz MediaTek Dimensity 700 octa-core processor, 950MHz Mali-G57 MC2 GPU, 6GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB UFS 2.1 expandable storage, and a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging. For cameras, it has a dual-camera setup with a 13MP f/2.2 main camera + 2MP f/2.4 depth sensor with LED flash. It also has an 8MP f/2.0 selfie camera.

Other features include dual-band WiFi, 5G, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.1, GPS, A-GPS, BeiDou, GALILEO, GLONASS, QZSS, USB-C, 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint, and facial unlock. It is running Android 11 and ColorOS 11.1 on top.
