Huawei LEQI Smart Electric Scooter with gyroscope and HarmonyOS support introduced!

Tech giant Huawei has launched the first device in its new LEQIi e-mobility series as an electric scooter powered by HarmonyOS.

This e-scooter comes with an IPX7 rating, smart lighting, and a gyroscope

The body is manufactured from automobile-grade integrated die-casting aluminum technology. Huawei claims that the frame can withstand a maximum load of 2 tons. 

Aside from that, it comes with an IPX7 waterproof and dustproof rating making it suitable for use even when it's raining heavily.  It arrives in two colors: Yashi Black and Matte White.

Moreover, this Huawei scooter is powered by a 350W brushless motor with a maximum output power of 630W and a climbing gradient of 15p percent. The company said it is equipped with a unique energy recovery technology in which the scooter recovers energy as she applies the brake or while navigating through a slope. 

The LEQI Smart Electric Scooter features a Bluetooth module and support for HarmonyOS Connect. It means the scooter needs to be within 0.5 of the smartphone in order to enable the one-key unlock function. Once unlocked, it automatically turns on the "Welcome" lighting effect.

According to Huawei, this scooter also supports automotive-grade smart lighting effects. It is equipped with three major lighting effects systems: 2.5W high-brightness headlamps, smart turn signals, and auto night lights. Furthermore, it comes with an ambient light sensor that detects the surrounding light level and automatically turns on the headlamps in a dark environment.

Allegedly, the LEQI scooter is also the first-ever to sport a smart gyroscope. With this feature, it can enable intelligent altitude detection, anti-flying, and intelligent speed regulation for up and downhill. 

Other features include 9-inch Chaoyang automotive-grade high-elasticity vacuum explosion-proof tires, which can effectively reduce turbulence, shock resistance, and shock absorption. At the same time, the tires have the ARAMID anti-puncture function and are also said to be explosion-proof.

The Huawei LEQI Smart Electric Scooter is now sold online in China but there are no details yet regarding its availability in other countries.
