Banned due to match-fixing

The shocking news to the Esports industry came when Southeast Asia Dota Pro Circuit League (SEA DPC League) posted it on their Twitter page.

Current players Prince Daculan and Ryniel Keit "Zenki" Calvez, former players Patt Piolo "Piolz" Dela Cruz and Dave "Hiro" Miyata, and now-Execration player Van Jerico Manalaysay are all affected by the ban. Chris Ian "CTY". Meanwhile, Francis Maldo, an Omega coach, is also included on the list.

The Smart-sponsored team will lose their Division I spot in the SEA DPC as a result of the sanction, whereas BOOM Esports, who finished 7th last season, will return to Division I for the 2018 Winter Tour. Execration will be able to fill the unfilled position on their squad with any eligible player in the meantime.

There will be another Division II slot to open on November 26 and will be hosted by organizers Beyond the Summit.
