Samsung has officially has begun rolling out One UI 4 with more customizations and updated privacy settings for the Galaxy S21 series.
In September 2021, Samsung began the public beta test of One UI 4 in Korea. Fast forward to November, the Korean Giant posted on its website that it has started rolling out the stable build of One UI 4 for the Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra 5G. But it will take some time for the update to arrive on every device.
Samsung did not clarify which regions the update will arrive in first. GSMArena bets that the update will arrive in the company's home country of South Korea.
Alongside the One UI 4 rollout, Samsung has started rolling out updates for the Samsung Galaxy Watch, Watch Active, Watch Active2, and Galaxy Watch3 wearables that the company says will enable 'users to enjoy enhanced health features and new watch faces.'
Aside from the improvements and new features that Android 11 brings, One UI 4 features reimagined widgets, new color palettes, a wider variety of emojis, stickers and GIFs that will be available from the keyboard. It will come with new privacy features like alerting users when an app is attempting to use the phone's camera or microphone and it will come with a new privacy dashboard that gives users access to privacy-focused features.
Has the update arrived for your Galaxy S21 series smartphone? If so which country or region are you from?
What do you guys think?
