It has the latest Sony Cognitive Processor XR in its core

The 85-inch Sony BRAVIA XR Master Series Z9J 8K LED TV is powered by the company's newest technology called the Cognitive Processor XR. This technology allows the TV to understand how humans see and hear to provide an immersive experience. It features a minimalist one-slate design with slim bezels and a three-way stand.

It has a Full-Array LED panel with XR Triluminos Pro, XR Contrast Booster, and XR 8K upscaling. The XR 8K upscaling allows the TV to deliver supreme 8K realism along with the deep blacks and high brightness the other tech offers. XR Motion Clarity technology ensures that motion blur is close to none by cross-analyzing image data. The X-Wide Angle technology provides vivid colors from any viewing angle. X Anti Reflection minimizes reflection from light sources around the area.

It also has up-to-date tech and features such as Acoustic Multi-Audio, Google TV, easy connectivity to other devices such as Apple AirPlay 2, voice commands with Google Assistant compatibility, Dolby Vision HDR, Dolby Atmos, Ambient Optimization, and  Netflix Calibrated Mode. It also features HDMI 2.1 to support 4K gaming at 120fps, Variable Refresh Rate, Autio Low Latency Mode, and e-ARC.
