On the Huawei Philippines website, the Chinese tech giant revealed the full specs of the P50 Pro in the country ahead of its December 23 APAC launch.

The listing confirmed that the Philippine version of the Huawei P50 Pro will feature the Snapdragon 888 4G chip (yes the 4G version of SD888, not 5G) instead of Kirin 9000, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB version. It will also be available in Cocoa Gold or Golden Black colors.

Other variants with smaller or larger memory options and the Collector's Edition won't be available in the country yet.

To recap, the P50 Pro is boasting a gorgeous-looking 3D curved back, IP68 water resistance, 6.6-inch large OLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, 1440Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 2700 x 1228 resolution at 459 ppi, punch-hole cutout for the 13MP wide-camera, and an In-Display fingerprint scanner below the display.

The device also has a 4,360mAh battery capacity with USB-C 66W SuperCharge + 50W Wireless SuperCharge + Reverse Wireless Charging.'

For cameras, it uses a quad-camera configuration with 50MP f/1.8 main shooter with OIS, 40MP f/1.6 mono camera + 13MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 64MP f/3.5 OIS periscope camera.

Huawei said that this has the XD Optics tech with XD Fusion Pro combines multiple photos to create the best image possible. The company is also claiming that this has up to a 200x zoom range.

The only thing that's missing now is its pricing, pre-order freebies, and local availability details.

In China, the 8GB/256GB Huawei P50 Pro is priced at CNY 6,488 which is around PHP 50K out of straight conversion. Last year, the company priced the P40 Pro at PHP 50,990.

Our guesstimate, the price will be in the same range as last year.
