Huawei's powerful camera phone and clamshell foldable's PH pricing revealed!
Ahead of its official launch, Huawei Philippines revealed the official SRP of the P50 Pro and P50 Pocket at a media event Wednesday.
To recap, the Huawei P50 Pro sports a 6.6-inch OLED screen with 2700 x 1228 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sample rate, 450 ppi pixel density, and 1,440Hz PWM dimming. The new handset also has a punch-hole cutout for the 13MP selfie camera and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Under the hood, it has the 2.84GHz 5nm Snapdragon 888 4G octa-core processor, Adreno 660 GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB expandable storage, and a 4,360mAh battery with 66W SuperCharge + 50W Wireless SuperCharge + Reverse Wireless Charging.
Of course, we can't forget about its powerful cameras. The P50 Pro packs a rear quad-camera setup with 50MP f/1.8 main sensor OIS + 64MP f/3.5 telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom, OIS + 40MP f/1.6 monochrome sensor + 13MP f/2.2 ultra-wide sensor with LED flash.

Meanwhile, the Huawei P50 Pocket is the Chinese giant's first-ever clamshell foldable smartphone. It features a large 6.9-inch inner display and a 1-inch circular AMOLED secondary display placed on its back. It also boasts a "no gap" folding mechanism made possible by Huawei's patented multi-dimensional hinge design.
Inside, it is using the 4G version of the 5nm Snapdragon 888 4G processor with Adreno 660 GPU.
As for the cameras, it uses a 40MP f/1.8 26mm True-Chroma primary camera + 13MP f/2.2 13mm ultra-wide-angle camera + 32MP f/1.8 30mm Ultra Spectrum (for more details) camera. It also has Laser AF and XD Fusion Pro technology to help users focus faster and improve the overall quality of the images it will take, respectively.
Note that Huawei P50 Pro and P50 Pocket will not be using the 5G version of SD888 due to the restrictions of US to Huawei.

The Huawei P50 Pro comes with an official SRP of PHP 52,999. On the other hand, Huawei P50 Pocket is priced at PHP 69,999 with the Premium Edition at PHP 86,999.
All devices will be available for pre-order starting February 4. For those pre-ordering the P50 Pro, a FREE Huawei FreeBuds Pro worth PHP 7,999 comes with the bundle.
Meanwhile, those who will pre-order the P50 Pocket and P50 Pocket Premium Edition will be getting a FREE Huawei Watch 3 worth PHP 18,999.

The pre-order period for the P50 Pro and P50 Pocket ends on February 10 and 17, 2022, respectively. Interested consumers may pre-order at Huawei Stores nationwide, LazMall, and ShopeeMall.
Local telco Globe earlier announced that the new Huawei handsets will be available for pre-order on the same date.
Huawei also announced that consumers may choose to trade in their old Huawei or non-Huawei smartphones to get an up to PHP 46,800 discount on either P50 Pro or P50 Pocket!
