The follow-up to the first CPE T1, the OPPO 5G CPE T2 features an all-new design with recycled materials to boot. It uses Post-Consumer Recycled Plastics making it a sustainable yet stylish, light, and durable device.

The OPPO 5G CPE T2 is designed to be the ultimate hub for homes and offices to utilize the fast speeds provided by 5G networks. It converts 5G signals into WiFI or LAN connections and in turn, allows multiple devices to connect to it. It is ideal for homes and offices.

The Qualcomm SnapdragonTM X62 5G Modem-RF system in the CPE T2 has been further optimized by OPPO in collaboration with Qualcomm, resulting in data transmission speeds that are over 20 percent faster than the platform baseline. In terms of compatibility, the T2's hardware architecture is built such that the Snapdragon X62 5G modem can be swapped out for the Snapdragon X65 modem. This will allow OPPO to upgrade the T2 as needed based on operator clients' needs.

OPPO also unveiled its newest O-Reserve 2.0 smart technology for the T2's antenna. This analyzes signals received by eight antennas in real-time and selects four of them depending on gain strength and signal quality to build a downlink route. This, in turn, keeps the antenna gain high in all directions. When comparing downlink speeds on the T2 with and without O-reserve 2.0 turned on, OPPO states that there is at least a 10 percent boost in download speeds.

The OPPO CPE T2 will be released by the second half of 2022. OPPO has partnered with operators in the Middle East, Africa, Asia Pacific, and Europe to bring the connecting potential of 5G CPE to even more people.
