MWC 2022: OPPO outs 240W fast charge tech, can fill a 4,500mAh battery in 9 minutes!
Following the release of the impressive X5 series, China-based global tech giant OPPO today unveiled more technologies at the MWC 2022 event. It includes the company's newest breakthrough in fast charging.

Record-breaking mobile phone charging speeds!
OPPO just announced the new 150W SUPERVOOC flash charge and the ultra-fast 240W SuperVOOC flash charge.

According to OPPO, the 150W charging tech can charge a 4,500mAh cell to 50 percent in 5 minutes and 100 percent charge in just 15 minutes. It is built using direct charging technology with charge pumps.
It also has the new Battery Health Engine technology designed to keep the battery performing at 80 percent of its original battery capacity after as many as 1,600 charge cycles. The company claimed that this is double the current industry standard.
The Battery Health Engine debuted with the Find X5 series last week.
Meanwhile, the new 240W SUPERVOOC flash charge can fill an entire 4,500mAh battery to 100 percent in just 9 minutes. There is no other info yet on how OPPO made this possible.
The 150W SUPERVOOC flash charge will be launched on select OnePlus smartphones in Q2 of this year.
There is no info on when will the 240W charge tech be available on OPPO smartphones.
