OPPO releases the Find X5 series with MariSilicon X NPU, 80W fast charge, and 50W wireless charging!

OPPO today finally revealed the new Find X5 smartphones—the company's newest flagship series designed to compete with the very best in the market today.

OPPO Find X5 series is now official!

The line consists of two smartphones, the vanilla Find X5 and the ultra-premium Find X5 Pro.

Both phones arrived with OPPO's homegrown MariSilicon X NPU chip based on the 6nm manufacturing process with AI noise reduction 4K Ultra Night video mode for both the wide and ultra-wide cam and can capture videos at 20-bits per channel with 4x greater dynamic range than Find X3 Pro at 120dB.

Apart from that, the two phones are using dual 50MP IMX766 cameras (wide with Omni-Directional PDAF and 5-axis OIS and ultra-wide) with Hasselblad color calibration as well as the super-fast USB-C 80W SuperVOOC that can charge the phone from 0 to 50 percent in 12 minutes (Pro model) and a 50W AirVOOC wireless charging solution that can fill its entire battery from 0 to 100 percent in 47 minutes (Pro model).

SuperVOOC, which does the 0-50% sprint in 12 minutes. Wireless charging got faster too with 50W AirVOOC, which can do a full charge in 47 minutes.

The design of the phones is also identical and looks like a refinement from the Find X3 series.

AirVOOC-ready

For specs, the vanilla Find X5 features a 6.5-inch LTPO AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, HDR10+ support, FHD+ resolution, and an In-Display fingerprint reader.

Inside, it is powered by the 5nm Snapdragon 888 chip paired with 8GB LDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, and a 4,800mAh battery. Keeping the performance in check is a multi-tier cooling system and an extra-large vapor chamber.

For cameras, it also has a 13MP f/2.4 telephoto camera with up to 5x hybrid optical zoom to assist its two powerful 50MP shooters. For selfies, you will get a 32MP Sony IMX615 snapper.

The phone also has stereo speakers, WiFi 6, 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.2, and NFC. 

To improve the signal strength of 5G, it has a 360-degree antenna as well.

Sleek design

Meanwhile, the Find X5 Pro is boasting a larger and better 6.7-inch LTPO panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 1,000Hz touch sampling rate, and a sharper QHD+ resolution. It also has the faster 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chip, bigger 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, a 5,000mAh battery, and 32MP f/2.4 Sony IMX709 selfie shooter.

The rest of its specs are similar to the vanilla Find X5. But unlike the Find X5, it has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.

The two phones run with the Android 12 operating system with ColorOS 12.1 skin on top.

OPPO Find X5 Pro - EUR 1,299 (around PHP 74.9K)

Both devices are now available for pre-order in Europe. Open sales will begin on March 14.

There is no info if OPPO will bring it to the Philippine market yet.
