The devices will be formally launched in a grand online event featuring Maine Mendoza and the company's newest ambassador Alden Richards. On stage, GIZGUIDE Founder and EIC Peter Jan "PJ" R. Icogo (That's me!) will also share his experience about vivo V23 5G and how could it be a great phone for aspiring content creators.
According to vivo, the new vivo V23 is designed for today's social media savvy generation which includes influencers, style mavens, and content creators.
To recap, the V23e 5G is a device boasting a large 6.44-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution, 2.4GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 810 octa-core processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB expandable storage, 4,050mAh battery with USB-C 44W FlashCharge, 50MP + 8MP + 2MP triple-cam, 44MP selfie cam with Eye AF, and Hi-Res audio, among others.
On the other hand, vivo V23 5G is the higher-end model boasting the new color-changing back technology on its Sunshine Gold model. It also has a 6.44-inch 90Hz FHD+ HDR10+ notch display, speedier and more power-efficient 6nm Dimensity 920 SoC, 12GB RAM + 4GB virtual RAM, 256GB expandable storage, and 4,200mAh battery with USB-C 44W FlashCharge.
The handset also has a 64MP f/1.89 main shooter with PDAF + 8MP f/2.25 105-degree ultra-wide-angle + 2MP macro + LED flash camera setup at the back and powerful 50MP f/2.0 w/ Eye AF, EIS + 8MP ultra-wide selfie cameras. Both the back and front cameras can shoot 4K HDR videos as well.
