A new Redmi 10 launched!

The new Redmi 10 has some upgrades and downgrades. First off would be the notch as it now has a dewdrop design previously it is a centered punch hole. Although at the back it retains the smooth finish on the cover it now has newer color options of Midnight Black, Pacific Blue, and Caribbean Green.

When it comes to the screen, there are noticeable tradeoffs as well. The newer phone still has an IPS LCD panel but it is now bigger with 6.7-inch coming from 6.5-inch. Although it loses the FHD resolution and 90Hz as it now has HD+ resolution and only a 60Hz refresh rate. Another addition would be the Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

At the helm, it now has the 6nm Snapdragon 680 octa-core processor with Adreno 610 GPU. The previous one only had 12nm Mediatek Helio G88. The memory configurations remain the same with 4GB or 6GB RAM options and 64 or 128GB internal memory.

The battery is upgraded from 5,000mAh to 6,000mAh. Also in theory it may likely have longer battery life as the 6nm chipset is more power-efficient and the resolution of the screen is lowered thus lesser consumption of the juice. The device has a 10W charger included in the box but it is supported with 18W adaptors.

Moving to the camera department it still has a 50MP main camera and has a 2MP module for depth and LED flash although it loses the 8MP ultrawide found in the previous model. For the front-facing camera, it has 5MP.

Other info mentioned is the single speaker, headphone jack for audio and the phone runs Android 11 with MIUI 13 skin on top.
