realme launches the new realme V23 5G equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 810 and 48MP rear camera in China.

New V-series smartphone!

Back in March 2022, realme introduced the realme V25 5G in China. Now in April 2022, realme recently launched the realme V23 5G. This new smartphone features a large 6.58-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 2408 x 1080 and a 20:9 aspect ratio.

Inside is the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC, 8GB/12GB RAM, 256GB of storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast charging via USB-C.

At the back of the phone are a 48MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera with an LED flash while in front is an 8MP selfie camera. 

Other features include a 3.5mm headphone jack, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.0, WiFi 6 and NFC support.

The phone is only 8.1mm thick and weighs 190 grams. It comes in either the Glass Magic or the Gravel Black Colorways.

China price with direct to PHP conversion (no taxes and duties yet):

realme V23 5G 8GB/256GB - CNY 1,699 (around PHP 13.9K)

realme V23 5G 12GB/256GB - CNY 1,899 (around PHP 15.5K)

There is no word yet when the smartphone will go on sale in China nor is there information on International/Philippine pricing and availability.
