Infinix announced the Hot 12i in Nigeria, an entry-level smartphone powered by the Helio A series chipset.
The Hot 12i appears in an attractive glossy rear design which is available in Racing Black, Haze Green, Champagne Gold, and Horizon Blue colors. On the front, it is equipped with a 6.6-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen with a 60Hz refresh rate, 480 nits of brightness, and a waterdrop notch that houses the 8MP selfie shooter.
The handset uses the 2.0GHz 16nm MediaTek Helio A22 SoC with PowerVR GE8320 GPU. It is paired with 2GB or 3GB RAM and 64GB of internal memory. The RAM can also be expanded virtually by up to 7GB.
It has a battery capacity of 5,000mAh and supports 10W charging.
Infinix Hot 12i also uses a triple camera system with a 13MP main sensor and two auxiliary cameras and an LED flash.
Another feature mentioned is the rear-mounted fingerprint sensor for security purposes and DTS enhancement that enhances the listening experience.
As for connectivity, it has dual-band WiFi, 4G, GPS, DUAL SIM, and a 3.5mm audio jack.
Android 11 OS with XOS 7.6 skin covers the software side of the smartphone.
Meanwhile, there are also two smartphones teased but there is no information about them yet except for the triple camera and fingerprint scanner based on the renders shown.

The smartphone is now available in Nigeria although there are no details yet if it will come to the Philippines.
